KORLEKIE is a fashion label that explores heritage in craft techniques and culture, offering the best of handcrafted luxury garments and accessories made in the UK.
Launched in 2013 by British-Ghanaian designer Beatrice Korlekie, a year after she debuted her Master’s collection from the London College of Fashion at the V&A museum, the label has grown to be a favourite of VIPs and customers worldwide.
KORLEKIE has been featured in i-D magazine’s ones to watch, Elle and Vogue Italia and has been worn by actresses Anna Friel and Cynthia Erivo and music artists, Tiwa Savage and Ellie Goulding.
KORLEKIE is heralded from the Ga-Adangbe tribe in Eastern Region, Ghana and means ‘Queen of Eagles’.
Our ethos centres on taking our time to craft something truly spectacular.
We are passionate about creativity as well as the planet and aim to source regenerative products and textiles in our designs.
We strive to build with local enterprises and craftspeople and support and collaborate with global, social enterprises that promote good practices in fashion. Visit our Social Projects page to learn more.
We are proud to design in the UK, supporting and creating great friendships with local mills and artisans in the UK and Europe.
All pieces are made by hand by the label’s studio and take approximately 1-2 weeks to make. All items are made to order.
